The Swallow Your Pride Podcast

The Swallow Your Pride Podcast was created with the purpose of diving deeper into the issues that speech-language pathologists face when working with patients with swallowing disorders. Theresa discusses many controversial topics in order to provide the LATEST evidence-based treatment strategies, and create a community of dysphagia clinicians who want to consume incredibly valuable insight and information. Her goal is to allow you to #swallowyourpride, and be open and willing to try the latest in evidence based treatment approaches by learning from experts and researchers in our field in order to create the best outcomes for our patients who need it most!

Although she drops some serious knowledge bombs, her lighthearted tone and way of describing complicated anatomy & physiology, ethical considerations, advocating for what you need to do your job, and controversial topics make this blog a perfect resource for both new and experienced clinicians. Plus, she also provides printable handouts and resources so you can take the knowledge with you!  Best part? It's FREE!

Created by the super awesome and talented Tiffani Wallace, this blog covers literally everything that's relevant to SLPs in the trenches!  Tiffani uses her unique perspective and awesome sense of humor to engage the reader on a wide variety of topics. Tiffani is currently working full-time as a home health SLP and is a co-author of the apps Dysphagia2Go from SmartyEars, Dysphagia Therapy by Tactus and iScreen Aphasia by SmartyEars.  She has several webinars available on Speech Pathology.com and Northern Speech Services.  She also created and administrates 3 Facebook groups, Dysphagia Therapy, Dysphagia Therapy:  Professional Edition and Dysphagia Support.
